TITLE: Imperfect (155 Words)
AUTHOR: Maidenjedi
ARCHIVE: Anywhere, as usual.
DISCLAIMER: Not mine, thank you very much.
SUMMARY: Marita compares herself to Scully, as they relate to Mulder.
Apologies to those who get this more than once.
Author's Notes at the end.

He's got everything when he holds you.

I'm a distraction. You're bee pollen and I'm brown sugar. I'm good for him in small doses; you're good for him for a lifetime.

I am impure, tarnished and my eyes sparkle because I am jaded. I've seen the end of the world and its no pretty picture. You're a vestal virgin, whom he won't touch before that perfect moment. Your eyes sparkle because the light shines in them, reflects off your innocence. You still think you can stop the end from beginning.

He'll kiss me tonight, touch me tomorrow, and soon he'll stand by your side. I will be left with a broken heart and a broken compatriot; you'll have forever with the man meant for us both.

He tells me, in secret, that he's in love with you, and I know he won't tell you.

I tell him, in secret, that I'm in love with him.

Author's Notes: Mulder and Marita; no denying the sparks there. I wonder what Marita thought of Scully, and if she ever compared herself to Mulder's partner.

Again, the Harem crowd. Also to Deslea, who got me thinking with her 'One Son' vignettes (the Diana one, in particular).

Feedback, criticism, what have you is always welcome.
